On February 2, the first training session of the new Chinese women's volleyball team kicked off in Beilun, Ningbo, making full preparations for the World Women's Volleyball League, the Hangzhou Asian Games and the Paris Olympic Women's Volleyball Qualifying Tournament.
Speaking of goals, head coach Cai Bin said that this year the Chinese women's volleyball team will make up for their shortcomings based on last year's competition, and at the same time set two goals for the team this year - winning the Asian Games and qualifying for the Paris Olympic qualifiers as soon as possible.

Zhu Ting, who is currently playing in the Italian league, is not among the 23-man training roster announced by the Chinese women's volleyball team.
Talking about Zhu Ting's recent situation, Cai Bin said: "Her wrist has not recovered very well after the operation. Compared with before the injury, she still feels worse than before. The overall technical state has not recovered to the best. She hopes to be able to do it again. Restore your entire technical state."
Zhu Ting is currently playing in the Italian league. She just scored 22 points in a game and was awarded the MVP.
The Chinese women's volleyball team's training in Beilun, Ningbo will last for more than a month, and then they will move to Zhangzhou, Fujian to start the second phase of training.
Subsequently, the Chinese women's volleyball team will participate in the three sub-stations of the National Women's Volleyball League from May 30 to July 2, 2023. The venues are Nagoya, Japan, Hong Kong, China and Suwon, South Korea.
From September 16th to September 24th, the Paris Olympic Qualifying Tournament will kick off. The Chinese women's volleyball team will compete with Italy, Russia, Belgium, Canada, and Puerto Rico, who are also in Group B, for two qualifying seats.
The first match of the women's volleyball team at the Hangzhou Asian Games will be on September 28, and the final will be on October 7.
